In 1975, Bill Bright, founder of Campus Crusade and Loren Cunningham, founder of Youth with
a Mission (YWAM), introduced a world-changing strategy; The 7 Mountains of Influence; that would influence every sphere of society. They promoted their mandate as an endeavor to bring godly change into the world by influencing its seven spheres or mountains of society.
They set out on a noble mission to transform each nation with the words of the Gospel. They
believed it could only be achieved if one could manage to reach every sphere of society with
the words of God. The aim was to incorporate words of the Bible into everyday life and
transform each life with it. Their goal was to effect a positive change by bringing the words of
God and by influencing a positive change.
RELIGION
“And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith.”
Matthew 21:22
In different parts of the world, people identify and practice different kinds of religion. Religion
has the opportunity to transform people’s lives and steer them towards a positive direction in
life. That is why it is important to take the Gospels to each individual and introduce them to the
higher form of life. By bringing people of the world closer to God’s words, every corner of the
world can be influenced and united for a higher purpose.
Family
Family is one of the highest pillars of society. Family as an institution is an integral part of
society. It is the most basic and essential unit of society and has the potential to change the
world into a better place. That is why it is crucial to influence the institution of the family with
God’s words. It can motivate the younger generation to finally move towards building a family
as God had intended for them in the Bible: full of love, compassion, and kindness towards one
another.
Education
“Do not forsake wisdom, and she will protect you; love her, and she will watch over you.
Wisdom is supreme; therefore get wisdom. Though it cost all you have, get understanding.”
Proverb 4:6-7
Education influences young minds. It’s the key to building a better future. It molds young
minds and empowers them to fight for a better future. Without the right education, young
minds can easily be led astray.
Criminality is born out of poor or misleading education. That is why it is of utmost importance

Government

a love for humanity. If the government is corrupt, it breeds corruption within the nation until it
becomes nothing short of a cesspool of criminality. The government has immense power over
the lives of the people who elect them into power. That is why it is all the more important to

path of kindness, leadership, and love.
Media
“Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not
speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.” John 16:13
The media has immense power and influence over our society. What we see or hear through
the media comes to shape our beliefs and opinions. There lie the perils of believing blindly in
what the media tells you- the media often uses dishonest or untruthful methods to manipulate
people’s views on matters.
More often than not, media serves its own interest and caters to a particular section of the
people who fund the media houses. That is why it is imperative to bring the influential words of
the Bible into the ethics of these media houses and urge them to broadcast the truth without any compromise or dishonesty. That is how society can be reshaped into a safer and more beautiful place to live. It will encourage the bonding of kindness, compassion, and love amongst individuals.

Arts and Entertainment are supposed to imitate our lives. However, the influence they have over people’s lives is significant. People often believe that the products of art and entertainment are supposed to tell us how we are supposed to lead our lives.
Films, music, poetry, dancing, singing, and literature become influential in shaping our lives.
That is why it is essential to have words of the Bible influencing the arts and entertainment
sources in society. This will lead to a community where one can live freely, with a clear mind
and a free conscience.
Business
